We are able to provide a complete ‘Care at Home’ package.
HOME CARE SERVICE :
PERSONALISED SERVICE
The level of assistance and care that you or your relative might need depends upon personal circumstances and what you wish to achieve from the service. Rock of Ages Care recognises the individuality of each and every client and aim to match individual care needs to the right carer with the right experience in your local area. Our Carers are fully trained, supervised and supported.
PERSONAL CARE
We will work with you and your family to develop a personalised Support Plan to achieve your desired outcomes. We support adults of all ages, with wide ranging conditions, both long term such as Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Dementia etc, and sporadic such as recovery from strokes, short-term illness or falls.
Waking Night
Due to illness or a deteriorating condition where you require assistance all through the night or close monitoring, we will provide a carer that will be awake all night and will remain in the house with you for as many nights of the week or weekend as your required, or to cover the absence of family members on holiday or away working, or other live-in staff absences.
Sleeping Night
With this service you will have peace of mind that you are not alone and help could be on hand as we will provide you with a carer that will be contactable in the event of an emergency or concern who will also have their bedroom close to your room.
RESPITE CARE
This service is to provide a period of respite for the primary carer. This allows the primary carer (typically a spouse, parent or sibling) to get away and recharge their batteries. It also enables the individual to remain in a familiar environment, with all the comforts of home.
Rock of ages care has designed the service to maintain your independence and recognise that a standard service is not suitable for everyone. It may be a two-hour shopping trip every other week , or an accompanied holiday, or regular visits to doctors. We also offer extended visits of any number of hours to support participation in a regular event such as a social club or educational course or attend a special function i.e. a wedding or party or whilst family members are away on business and holiday trips.
END OF LIFE CARE
Our carers at rock of ages care ensures that the care people receive at the end of life is compassionate, appropriate and gives people choices about where they spend their final days and how they are cared for.
DEMENTIA CARE
One way to minimise the speed of decline is to be able to stay in the familiarity of your own home with one-to-one, personalised support. Our trained carers understand the need to maintain a bridge between past memories and the present day, and have undergone extensive training in dementia care in both an academic and vocational setting.
